General Information 賽事概况
The Gobi is a large desert region in Asia. It covers parts of northern and northwestern China, and of southern Mongolia. The desert basins of the Gobi are bounded by the Altai Mountains and the grasslands and steppes of Mongolia on the north, by the Taklamakan Desert to the West, by the Hexi Corridor and Tibetan Plateau to the southwest, and by the North China Plain to the southeast. The Gobi is most notable in history as part of the great Mongol Empire, and as the location of several important cities along the Silk Road.
戈壁是在亞洲裏的一個巨大沙漠地區。它涵蓋了中國北部和西北部，蒙古南部的地方。而這個比賽是 在中國敦煌附近進行。張掖，甘肅省省轄市。以“張國臂掖，以通西域”而得名，位於中國甘肅省西北 部，河西走廊中段。張掖有著悠久的歷史、燦爛的文化、優美的自然風光和獨特的人文景觀，自古就 有“塞上江南”和“金張掖”之美譽，古人有詩曰“不望祁連山頂雪，錯把張掖當江南”。市內有大佛寺、 木塔寺、土塔寺、西來寺、馬蹄寺、鎮遠樓、山西會館、民勤會館、黑水國遺址等名勝古蹟。
Itinerary 賽事日程
14 September: Arrive Zhangye. Race briefing and gear check.
15 September: Race Stage 1, distance: 32km, time limit: 8 hours.
16 September: Race Stage 2, distance: 43km, time limit: 12 hours.
17 September: Race Stage 3, distance: 25km, time limit: 6 hours. Awards banquet at Zhangye.
18 September: Depart from Zhangye.
9月14日：到達張掖。賽事講解及檢查裝備。
9月15日：第一階段賽事，距離：32公里，時限：8小時。
9月16日：第二階段賽事，距離：43公里，時限：12小時。
9月17日：第三階段賽事，距離：25公里，時限：6小時。於張掖頒獎晚宴。
9月18日：離開張掖。

Flight 飛機
Airport: Zhangye Airport
From Zhangye airport to city is about 30 kilometers. Direct flights to Zhangye airport are available from Xi’An and Luchou.

張掖機場離 張掖約10KM，有直航從西安和蘭州，飛往張掖。
Taxi 出租車
There is not airport bus to the Zhangye city. Taxi will cost about 70RMB.
張掖機場沒有開到張掖市的巴士。 出租車費用大概70元。
High Speed Train 高鐵
There are few high speed trains departing from Lanzhou to Zhangye and it takes about 3 hours.
可乘高鐵由蘭州到張掖，大約需要3個小時。
